Do you have a passion for walking and a love for motivating others? As a Community Health Walker, you can make a real difference by helping people in East Lothian become more active and confident in their walking abilities.
In this role, you’ll provide one-to-one support, accompanying individuals on walks at a pace that suits them. Many people face barriers to exercise—whether due to health concerns, low confidence, or lack of motivation—and your encouragement can help them build a positive, sustainable walking routine.
You’ll have the opportunity to explore East Lothian’s beautiful landscapes, which could include coastal paths to scenic parks, all while making meaningful connections. This is a rewarding role where you can boost someone’s wellbeing while enjoying the benefits of walking yourself.
If you love being outdoors and want to inspire others to stay active, we’d love to hear from you!
