Volunteer Driver - Kinning Park, Glasgow

QUARRIERS – HELP SOMEONE SMILE AGAIN

Are you looking to make a positive impact in the lives of others?

We urgently require a volunteer driver to drive an adapted vehicle to enable our guests to go on day trips and access the wider community in our vehicle. Ensure our service users and staff members arrive at activities and back home safely. Help someone disadvantaged from missing out.

Your support can make a big difference for individuals, help someone disadvantaged from missing out.

Main Tasks

  • Drive adult and staff members safely to and from various locations.

  • Offer a friendly, supportive presence during trips.

Training
We provide training to make sure you are supported in your volunteering role. This ranges from volunteer induction to specific training you will need for your role.

You will be provided with a named member of staff (your supervisor) at the relevant service or department. The staff member will provide
supervision and will be your point of contact should you have any issues or concerns while volunteering.

Our service is a 7 bedded residential respite service which supports adults with disabilities. Based in Kinning Park near to the Springfield Quay complex.

If you are interested please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided.
