The purpose of this role is to support a range of community groups Alzheimer Scotland operate. Our Community Groups are there to be enjoyed by anyone living with dementia or experiencing difficulties with their memory, including their families and friends. All are welcome, these groups are for people who can attend independently and/or for those unable to do so should come with a companion who can provide any support for them.
These groups may include the Football Memories, musical memories, dementia cafés and gardening projects. This list is not exhaustive and this role may support a range of community groups.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
