Treasurer/Board Member

As Treasurer, you'll be the go-to person for overseeing our charity’s finances. You'll make sure everything is managed properly and keep the Board updated regularly. Your insights will be crucial for making informed decisions and keeping things transparent.

What You'll Do:

Monitor our finances and manage them effectively.
Report to the Board of Trustees regularly.
Share financial insights in a clear and consistent way.
Be an active participant in discussions and decision-making.


Who We're Looking For:


Someone organized, precise, and innovative.
Great communication skills.
Ethical, trustworthy, and good with finances.
Trustee experience is a plus, but not a must—we'll provide training and induction.


Bonus Skills:


Social media and marketing.
Monitoring and evaluation.
IT, fundraising, and grant applications.
Event planning and management.

Experience required

Experience in/of any of the following: Funding applications, Marketing and social media, Event management and fundraising, Monitoring and evaluation, and IT.

An ability to communicate clearly demonstrating good judgement to members of the Board and other stakeholders.

Understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship would be beneficial.


Interested and aware of the issues faced by families in need and a desire to be involved in an organisation that supports / helps such families.

Off site and in our premises. The opportunity will take place at Showcase the Street, 6,7,8 Manhattan Works, Dundonald Street, Dundee, DD3 7PY

Minimum age: 18
We do not feel able to take on volunteers under 18, and volunteers at Togs have no direct contact with children/vulnerable adults through their time at Togs.
