Caberfeidh Horizons
- VO102800
Our registered charity currently runs two shops, both situated on Kingussie's High Street. These are our Bookshop and the Charity Shop, which sells furniture, bric-a-brac, high end clothing and contains our community foodshare facility. We are always looking for volunteers to help in the shops. Our shops are open from 10am - 4.30pm, Tuesday - Saturday and volunteers usually work either morning or afternoon. We are also happy to cater for volunteers who can only help out for a couple of hours.
Tasks involved entail dealing face to face with the public, making sales, operating the till, sorting donations, and setting up shop displays. There is usually always someone else to help, and we aim to make volunteering in our shops both fun and enjoyable. Many of our volunteers tell us that they gain a great deal of satisfaction from their time spent volunteering with us.
