Youth Work

Could you make a real difference in a young person’s life?
Do you have a few hours to spare each week to share a hobby or just hang out with someone aged 11–18?
Biggar Youth Project is looking for Volunteer Youth Workers to support young people in our local community.
Whether it’s chatting over a game of table tennis, getting involved in creative activities, helping at lunchtime with meals — your time and presence can make a huge impact.

With rising levels of social isolation, poverty, and inequality, young people need positive role models now more than ever.
As a Volunteer Youth Worker, you’ll:
• Be a consistent, encouraging adult in a young person’s life
• Share your hobbies, interests, and time
• Help them build confidence and try new things
• Support them to feel more connected to their community
• Make a meaningful difference — all in just a few hours a week
If you're passionate about supporting young people and giving back locally, we’d love to hear from you.
