Bakers needed for a weekly Cafe. We established the Friday café at Bellfield as a friendly space for isolated community members where we serve teas, coffees, cakes, scones and buns and share skills. We have been supplying the Cafe with home-baked goods and need some home bakers to help support. There is the option to bake at our kitchen in Bellfield or from home. You will have excellent food hygiene standards. We will support you to be creative and reimburse expenses.
Travel details
The Cafe runs from Bellfield. Portobello. Bakes can be dropped off at the Cafe on Friday morning, or baked on site any time on Thursday or early Friday morning.
Travel expenses
Receipts for ingredients will be reimbursed fortnightly.
Support
Training details
We will provide you with a handbook, baking tools and ingredients as well as support from the project coordinator and fellow volunteers.
