Inventory Maintenance & Repair

Hours: Volunteer hours are flexible—contribute as much or as little time as suits you

Responsibilities:
-Check items upon return, clean if needed and carry out or arrange repair
-Arrange PAT test of electrical items (volunteers must be PAT Test qualified to do this) Training provided
-Update the online borrowing platform MyTurn with maintenance that is scheduled or completed (Training provided)
-Check and test donated items before they are added to the library for borrowing


NB It’s not essential, but it would be beneficial for repair and maintenance volunteers to possess basic repair experience.

Minimum age: 18

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
