Lead Companion Volunteer

We’re looking for people with great organisational skills and local knowledge to help us reach the people who need our support the most. As a Lead Volunteer you will help us by carrying out client assessments, speaking to organisations about the work that we do and helping us keep our records up to date. We know our support can mean the world to families affected by a terminal illness, and you can be part of making sure everyone who needs this will receive it. If you’re someone who is motivated to make a difference then why not get in touch today.

Experience required

Must be organised and reliable with good basic IT skills. Our ideal volunteer will be someone who is able to build rapport with someone easily and who has a calm and open minded approach. Own vehicle useful but not essential.

Travel expenses

We will reimburse for travel costs including mileage in own vehicle and for other agreed activities. These can be claimed monthly. Mileage at standard HMRC rate of 45p per mile.
