The BookBench Trail will go live across the north-east, Moray, Orkney and Shetland from June 30, with 41 large BookBench sculptures being displayed in locations across Clan’s geography.
Clan is looking for volunteer ‘librarians’ to check their local sculpture is safe, clean and ready to welcome visitors throughout the nine-week trail period. The charity advises volunteer librarians to carry out weekly checks with a cleaning kit provided by sponsor Tidy Green Clean to ensure the BookBench is in great condition throughout the project.
