Musician - Pianist - Glasgow Hospice

As a volunteer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to create memorable moments and turn ordinary days into special ones. Whether through soft melodies that bring relaxation or lively tunes that brighten spirits, your love of music will truly make a difference.

• Share your music in for all visitors, staff and patients to hear
• Solo acts, duos, trios or small groups welcome - bring your unique flair!



  • Grand Piano situated in the Hospice.


What we'll provide to you
• An opportunity to utilise and promote your performance skills and community presence
• Induction and ongoing guidance provided
• Travel expenses reimbursed


Opportunity open to candidates aged 16 years of age. No upper age limit

Experience required

Able to play a Piano, Sing or to provide similar entertainment
Able to perform a variety of songs from different genres
Confident to perform in an open space indoors
Comfortable to engage with an audience or take musical requests

Online Training Booklet provided during registration
Ongoing support provided where needed

Restrictions

Minimum age: 16

Frequency & commitment
1 hour per week or every other week

Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
