Social Media and Content Creators

Talking is Mental CIC is an organisation based in Glasgow combating social isolation and loneliness through the delivery of activity groups across the city and by encouraging dialogue around the impacts of these issues on physical and mental health. All our groups are open and inclusive for all. We are committed to making them free or as low cost as possible to ensure that payment isn't a barrier to someone taking part and making a connection.

We are completely volunteer-run and rely on support from people like you who are willing to give their free time for this amazing cause. Currently, we are looking for 1 or 2 volunteers to support the planning and creation of Talking is Mental's social media content. We are looking for caring, creative and ideas driven people.

As part of this role, you could be:

  • Developing social media and content plans

  • Creating social media posts

  • Scheduling posts

  • Finding opportunities for new content

  • Taking photos and filming our groups

  • Supporting with creating and sending our newsletter

  • Monitoring engagement and inboxes

  • Liaising with media contacts

  • Demonstrating the impact of Talking is Mental CIC

  • Contributing to the development of our brand/brand guidelines

If you have any questions before applying, please contact us at itismental24@gmail.com.

If you are interested, please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call.
