As a board trustee, you will actively contribute to board meetings, help to monitor and implement decisions taken at the meetings. You will help to ensure the organisation complies with its governing document, charity law, etc.
You will provide leadership to support the Centre manager, You will help implement the organisational plan and business strategy. You will help review/agree any changes to the organisation. You will help monitor a regular and robust overview of principle risks facing the charity and manage any necessary actions.
Experience required
Good communicator. respectful and understanding regarding the work Dundee Age Concern undertakes.
Travel details
Dundee Age Concern, Caird Avenue, Dundee;
Travel expenses
Bus receipts. Mileage payable at £0.26 per mile.

Restrictions
Minimum age: 16
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
