Make a difference by helping your community and the environment

ILM Highland is currently recruiting volunteer drivers to assist with the collection and delivery of electrical appliances from domestic homes across the Highlands. These collections are vital for residents who don’t drive or have access to a vehicle but want to recycle responsibly—protecting our planet for future generations.

By volunteering with us, you can:

Make a Real Impact – Support local communities, reduce landfill, and help vulnerable people live independently.
Meet New People – Build friendships and social connections as part of a warm, welcoming team.
Boost Your Skills & Experience – Gain valuable experience in logistics, customer service, and teamwork—great for CVs or future job opportunities.
Improved Mental Wellbeing – Volunteering has been shown to boost confidence, reduce stress, and increase a sense of purpose.
Feel Part of a Movement – Join a growing network of people passionate about sustainability, community, and social impact.
Ongoing Support & Recognition – You won’t be doing this alone—we’ll support you every step of the way and make sure your contribution is recognised.
