Business and Corporate Engagement Volunteer (South Ayrshire)

Do you have contacts in a variety of small businesses around South Ayrshire, or would be interested in engaging with businesses? You could become a Business and Corporate engagement volunteer for Mary’s Meals. Mary's Meals serves school meals to over 2.6 million children living in poverty every school day across 16 countries, helping end child hunger and increasing access to education for the next generation.
We are looking for volunteers to engage with businesses in their local area to introduce them to the work of Mary’s Meals and encourage them to support us at a business or personal level.

Activities you can get involved in include:
•Contact and engage with local businesses to share the Mary’s Meals story and mission.
•Give talks to business and corporate groups about Mary’s Meals’ work.
•Promote key campaigns throughout the year that companies can support.
•Encouraging businesses to take a collection can or become a drop off point for our foreign currency collection

Volunteering with Mary’s Meals provides great personal benefits such as:
• Learn new skills and experience of working within a vibrant organisation
• Meet new and like-minded people
• Increase confidence
• Build on team-working skills, communication and networking
• Knowledge that you are playing a key part in reaching the next child waiting for Mary’s Meals
