Chair of Board of Trustees

Home Start Dunfermline are looking for a Chair to lead their Board into an exciting new chapter.

Building on their successes to date, the organisation are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated individual to take on the voluntary role of Chair of the Board of Trustees. This pivotal position ensures strong leadership and strategic oversight, working collaboratively with fellow trustees and the manager to shape the charity’s future. You should have experience in board or senior leadership, a passion for early childhood development, and the ability to operate strategically.

Experience required

You will have a strong background and track record of providing leadership at board and/or senior executive level and will have a passion for supporting the early years in life for a better future. You should have the judgement and vision to operate effectively at strategic level and you should demonstrate the skills and expertise to help drive the organisations mission forward.

Travel details

Board meetings are held every 8 weeks online or in the organisations office in Dunfermline city centre.

Travel expenses

Out of pocket travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Training details

Induction plan will be in place for starting and ongoing support from both the outgoing chair, trustees and Home Start UK.
