Supporting Our Community (SOC)
- VO103593
We will be running an open day on Saturday 20th of September for our community garden as part of Climate Action week, in which we will run some workshops to teach people how to encourage and nurture their local biodiversity. As a volunteer you will help lead these workshops and assist participants with the activities. The workshops will include making native wildflower seed bombs, making bird food balls and bird's nests. We also welcome your ideas if there is a specific workshop/ activity you are eager to run!
Inductions will be given and the processes will be explained for you to easily give instructions to the public.
This will be a great opportunity to engage with the public, get creative and encourage a more positive relationship with our environment.
