Dementia workshop assitant

We run bi-weekly creative workshops for people living with dementia and those supporting them. The aim of these is to create a safe, joyful environment where our participants can explore different creative avenues which can help to express themselves and maybe provide a bit of peace.

We expect our volunteers to help in a variety of ways such as supporting our participants with their activity, making sure people have everything they need, helping to maintain a tidy space, set up and pack up.

These sessions offer an important space for people with dementia to relax, feel listened to and socialise. So it's crucial that our volunteers enjoy talking to people and are caring, kind and patient.

We hope to give you as volunteers the chance to grow and learn from your time with us, so if you wish to lead your own activities that will be encouraged and supported!
