BRAVEHOUND

Bravehound aims to help heal the invisible wounds of military veterans with their specially trained assistance dogs. They provide assistance dogs to veterans who have a clinical diagnosis of a mental health condition such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and anxiety.
As a Bravehound Logistics Volunteer you will help as needed with veteran transport, delivering dog food, transporting dogs to the vets and any other logistics tasks that they need help with.
This opportunity takes place on an ad hoc basis, as there is no set timeline for when appointment will be needed.
You may drive a charity vehicle and as such need to have a full UK clean driving license. A PVG is required for this role.
Experience required
You must have a full, clean UK driving license.
Travel details
Travel will be required within Fife and beyond, and a charity vehicle will be available.
Travel expenses
Expenses are reimbursed.
Support
Training details
Volunteers are given an induction to Bravehound, and will be given any relevant training for the role. Support will be available from the operations manager.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Availability
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
