Story Teller

Are you passionate about animal welfare, particularly rabbits? Do you possess a knack for storytelling and a desire to make a meaningful impact in your community? Beloved Rabbits, a dedicated rabbit rescue charity, is seeking a volunteer Story Teller to join their team.
As a Story Teller volunteer, you will play a crucial role in raising awareness of rabbit welfare issues in Scotland and promoting support for Beloved Rabbits. You will:
• Conduct informal/casual interviews with volunteers, adopters, and rabbit owners to gather stories and insights
• Collate content from various charity resources, including success stories, educational material, and rescue updates
• Create compelling articles and video scripts tailored for various platforms, including social media, adoption activities, rehoming support, educational initiatives, regular email newsletters, press releases, and website content
This role allows you to gain experience in content creation, collaborate with others, and make a positive impact on the lives of rescue rabbits.

Experience required

Volunteers will need:
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct interviews
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Attention to detail
• A genuine passion for animal welfare, particularly for rabbits

Travel details

Volunteers can undertake this role from home.

Travel expenses

Expenses will be discussed on a case by case basis.

Support
Training details

Volunteers will be supported by one of the charity’s managers, and you’ll have access to regular team meetings, ongoing training, and you’ll be invited to engage through their online volunteer collaboration system.
