Dog Assessment Volunteer

Springer Rescue Scotland (SRS) is a Scottish charity founded in 2008 to champion the welfare and rehoming of Spaniels. SRS is dedicated to ensuring that every Spaniel in Scotland finds a loving home and that their owners have enriching experiences. SRS embodies a non-judgmental approach, providing a safe haven for Spaniels in need and promoting their well-being with unwavering commitment.
They are looking for Dog Assessment volunteers to visit the homes and assess dogs that are being surrendered to the rescue.
As a Dog Assessment Volunteer, you will be given the tools you need to assess the dog for surrender, and you’ll have plenty of contact with the dogs through your role. Although no experience is needed, you should be comfortable around dogs to be able to do this role.
You will receive full support, and can choose the location where you would like to volunteer.
