Garden Volunteer

The National Trust for Scotland is looking for enthusiastic Volunteer gardeners to help care for the beautiful gardens and grounds of the historic Hill of Tarvit Mansion House and Gardens near Cupar. From planting and pruning to sowing seeds and harvesting produce, you'll play a vital role in keeping the estate at its very best all year round. Your contribution helps create a place of beauty and tranquillity for everyone to enjoy.

Volunteering with NTS is also a wonderful opportunity for personal growth-whether by learning new skills, meeting new people, or sharing your passion for the outdoors. You'll have the chance to engage with visitors and support the work of the National trust for Scotland, an independent charity dedicated to safeguarding Scotland's heritage, historic properties, landscapes, and wildlife.

Experience required

All you need is an interest in being part of a team working to keep the garden looking magnificent all year round, a willingness to work independently or as part of a team in the unpredictable Scottish weather, and an enthusiasm for the work of the National Trust for Scotland.

All opportunities are based on the property. The property is on the No.64 bus route and also has car parking available, including accessible parking, and bike racks.
