Hilton Duck Pond

Each month we spend two hours in the park maintaining the green space. Tasks include building dead hedges with fallen dead wood, cutting back shrubs, edging paths, maintaining wild flower meadows. There is also opportunity to record plant species and / or pollinator species.

Training details
We use hand tools. A short safety talk will be given appropriate to the task that day.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 16
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
