Lunch Club Helper

No matter how good our services are, we can't properly support our users/community well if we don't have skilled people in the team. If this sounds like you?... we would love you to consider volunteering with us for a few hours per week.
Ben View Resource Centre is a registered Charity which aims to promote the wellbeing of the people of Dumbarton and the surrounding area.

Our friendly lunch club is an ideal place for you to put your people skills to great use -trained in Health and Safety although not essential, provide lunch to older people who attend our club, setting and clearing tables, serving lunches and washing dishes and a pleasant personality is vital. To provide assistance and support to passengers, older people or those with disabilities, by helping them safely board and disembark the bus, escorting them to their destination, and ensuring their well-being during the journey. Key aspects of the role include strong communication and people skills, patience, reliability, and a desire to help others, with specific tasks varying depending on the organisation.

So, whether you are looking to use your time well, update your skills or have the chance to do something a bit new, we would love to hear from you. In return, we can offer you a warm welcome and all of the support and help you could need.

We are seeing a rise in demand for our services, everyday. Having your help will allow us to be there for the people who need us. Any time you can give will make a real difference.
