Fire Heritage - various volunteer roles available

The Scottish Fire Brigades Heritage Trust maintains the history and heritage of the fire service. We carry out restoration, conservation and preservation of old fire engines , fire uniforms and equipment .

We are looking for vehicle mechanics, joiners, painters and general handy workers. We take these vehicles out to shows and events and require drivers, particularly HGV.

We are looking for volunteers who have a hands on approach to her work required to keep our fleet of preserved fire engines roadworthy.


Hamilton volunteers only at present until we review our expenses policy.
