Volunteer Outdoor Teaching Assistant

Do you like working with children and enjoy being outside? We are looking for some help with our outdoor teaching sessions at North Kessock Primary School.

The classes are taught by Laura, the Go Flourish Liaison Teacher and support curriculum learning. Having extra help will allow the classes to be split into smaller groups, which help to nurture the children's time spent hands-on gardening.

Gardening knowledge isn't essential as all instructions will be given by Laura. Enthusiasm, patience and an ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative are key for this role.

As this volunteer role involves working with children in schools, we will need to carry out a PVG Disclosure Scotland Check. There is no fee attached but we will need to work with you to gather the necessary information and IDs etc. before starting.

Please get in touch with [email protected] if you would like to find out more information.
