Community Fundraiser

Volunteering details

We believe that everyone deserves to live in freedom with dignity and respect, and we are looking to recruit people who share our vision to partner with us in making that a reality for all.
SOHTIS is a leading anti-human trafficking NGO in Scotland. Human trafficking is happening in all 32 local authorities in Scotland, on each of our doorsteps, hidden and misunderstood. At our heart, to show compassion, be tenacious in our pursuit of justice, and demonstrate dignity expressed in equity and respect for every person’s journey. We have an experienced team who are active in service delivery and strategic local and national policy.
We are looking to recruit volunteer community fundraisers to help us raise awareness of human trafficking in Scotland, connect and engage with your local community networks and help fund crucial services such as art therapy sessions and legal empowerment programs.
This is a busy but rewarding role that will help to create lasting change and transformation for survivors. It could involve setting up your own fundraiser, or helping others in your local community to organise one. You might feel inspired by our 32 and You! Challenge or perhaps you want to host your own Come Meet Share night with friends. We are open and excited to hear your ideas too!
