Micro Volunteering

Volunteering details

Micro volunteering is one-off or very short-term, low-commitment volunteering. Despite the name, the impact of micro volunteering can still be significant. For you, and for Age Scotland.
Micro volunteering is about taking on tasks and activities, rather than roles. You might be doing one task as an individual, or volunteering within a group of people each doing a task as part of a bigger project.

Here are some examples of ways you can help Age Scotland with micro-volunteering:

Help with sharing information or distributing leaflets at an event
Holding a collection can at a fundraising event
Being a marshall at an event
Helping our team at information stalls and Age Scotland roadshows
Informing us about relevant events in your local community for older people
Taking part in fundraising for us
By showing support for us on social media
Taking part in research via one of our panels
Checking in with your older neighbours
