Furniture Plus provides affordable furniture to people in Fife through their Dysart and Dunfermline stores, supporting the community and the environment by reducing waste and encouraging reuse. They are looking for Art Champions to organise donated art within their Dunfermline store.
The main tasks include:
• Sort art donations
• Price art, and at times, research appropriate pricing
• Display art in the store, including hanging pictures on walls
• To ensure the art section is well-presented, clean and tidy at all times
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys art to put their knowledge to good use and to learn more about art sales.

Experience required
Furniture Plus are happy to receive volunteers who are willing and keen to learn new skills, whilst growing confidence, meeting new people, have fun and feeling part of your local community. A passion and knowledge for art, an ability to organise, and an understanding of the value of art would be appreciated.

Travel expenses
Travel expenses are paid at 10p per mile for walking, 24p per mile for a motorbike, 45p per mile for driving and full payment for bus tickets.
Support
Training details
They provide a full induction (Health & Safety). Each volunteer will be partnered up with a fully experienced member of staff to begin with, and there will always be a named contact on hand to provide support.
