Events and Outreach Volunteer

Adelphe works to empower women from ethnic minority backgrounds by providing tailored coaching, mentorship, and practical workshops that foster growth, professional success, and a strong sense of community, ensuring that every woman is seen, heard, and empowered.
Adelphe is looking for volunteers to support Adelphe’s events and summits, helping create welcoming, impactful experiences for participants.

The main duties are to:
● Assist with set-up, registration, and participant welcome.
● Provide on-the-day support (ushering, refreshments, logistics).
● Help with photography, social media, and gathering feedback.
● Represent Adelphe at local community events.

As an Adelphe volunteer, you can gain experience in event management, gain networking opportunities at summits and community gatherings, and build transferable skills for careers in events or community development.


Experience required

● Outgoing and confident with people.
● Organised and reliable.
● Able to volunteer in busy event environments.
● Team player.

Travel details

Events can happen anywhere within the Fife area, or in the Edinburgh and Lothians area. Volunteers can get involved locally to them.

Travel expenses

Expenses can be discussed on a 1-1 basis.

Support
Training details

Volunteers will receive an induction to Adelphe, and will have ongoing support from other members of the team.
