Kids Time Dundee
- VO104159
As a KidsTime Workshop Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming environment for families affected by parental mental illness. Each month, you’ll help plan and prepare alongside staff and fellow volunteers, ensuring everything is ready for families when they arrive. Tasks include setting up the space, preparing snacks, and welcoming participants.
During the workshop, you’ll be part of a family seminar where parents and children learn together about mental health in an engaging, accessible way. You may also support a children’s or parents’ group, working with a drama therapist or Mental Health lead to encourage participation and connection. Afterward, you’ll help serve dinner, offering families time to relax together before leaving. Finally, you’ll assist with tidying up, leaving the space ready for next time. This is a rewarding role where you’ll directly support children and parents to learn, share, and thrive.
