Director

Falkirk Citizen's Advice Bureau are an independent charity and a member of the wider Citizens Advice network, reducing inequality, improving wellbeing, and strengthening our community by tackling the complex problems that make people vulnerable. We provide advice, assistance, and advocacy to people in Falkirk on a broad range of issues.

Applicants will be over 18 and have the experience and skills to ensure that the charity continues to develop and provide high-quality long-term services. As a Director, you will be required to ensure the good governance of the organisation which will involve attendance at bi-monthly board meetings and an Annual General Meeting.

This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of information and advice services in Falkirk and contribute to making a real difference to the local area. We welcome applications from across the community and are committed to equal opportunities. Experience of running a small organisation is useful, but so too is lived experience of dealing with social security, council services, or difficulty with housing or disability.

Experience required

We accept expressions of interest from a wide range of applicants. If you think you have skills, experiences, or perspectives that would be valuable to us we would love to hear from you.
