As a Trustee, you’ll help shape our vision, support fundraising, and strengthen community connections. You’ll work with fellow Trustees and volunteers to keep the railway thriving and ensure we meet our goals and responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
Attend regular Board meetings (around once a month)
Help with fundraising and community events
Support planning and projects
Promote teamwork and positive engagement
What We’re Looking For
Passion for heritage railways and community projects
Good communication and teamwork skills
Some experience with planning, fundraising, or governance (helpful but not essential)
What You’ll Get

Time Commitment
About 12 meetings a year (3–4 hours each), plus a bit extra for projects or events.

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
