IBike Volunteer

Volunteer with I Bike and help promote active travel in schools. You might be helping out with bike rides or outdoor learning walks; teaching children to cycle for the first time, helping with playground cycle and scooting skills sessions, fixing bikes, and more! It's such a fun and rewarding role to help get children active, out in the fresh air and give them skills for life.

You are free to sign up to whichever activities that interest you, be that teaching children to ride a bike, silent disco walks, scooter skills, helping run a smoothie bike, or fixing bikes in the playground. There are a huge variety of activities to support, and you will never be alone with the children.

Vast majority of work is during the school days: Mon - Fri 8:30am -3:30pm
Currently Hawick, but if interested, the project does expand
