Make a difference in your community – volunteer with Citizen’s Advice Bureau
We are looking for Volunteer Advisers to help provide Moray citizens with free, impartial and confidential advice. We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join our friendly team and in exchange offer you rewarding experiences, knowledge, and a confidence boost.
The bureau is a charity, and volunteers are at the heart of what we do. Volunteer Advisers interview clients, assist clients to make informed decisions, contact other organisations on behalf of clients and complete clear case records.
No experience is necessary to become an advisor as we offer in-depth training; which has recently been accredited to SCQF Level 6 - meaning you will also earn a recognised qualification at the same time.
We are looking for people who can give us 3-6 hours per week.
You’ll make a real difference to local lives.
Experience required
You need to be someone who is a good listener, can remain impartial, a good communicator and have good computer skills.
