Youth Leader

The 13th Rosyth Scouts are part of the Scout Movement in the United Kingdom which has over 400,000 youth members aged between 4 and 18. Their Scout Group in Rosyth runs four sections – Squirrels (4 to 6 years), Beavers (6 to 8 years), Cubs (8 to 11 years) and Scouts (11 to 14 years). The activities are provided in weekly meetings at the Church hall but with opportunities to go outside for games, activities, camps etc. As a Youth Leader, your role is to support these activities and build a positive relationship with the young people.
Three of the leaders in the Beaver & Cub sections are standing down at the end of the year and one or both sections are in danger of closure. 13th Rosyth Scouts would welcome new volunteers to help run these sections. Previous Scouting experience is not essential.
