We are a local Playgroup looking for volunteers for a Chair, Treasurer and Secretary to support our Playgroup Manager in the running of the organisation. The organisation has a Parent committee who will focus on the fundraising, however we would love to have experienced committee members or those who would be interested in being a part of a committee in the Early Years sector. Our Chair would lead the termly meetings and support the Manager in key decisioning to support the organisation, the Treasurer will manage the bank account, pay bills and carry out the annual OSCR financial submission. The secretary would minute all meetings carried out by the committee and manage the actions. Training will be provided to all those interested in the role. Our organisation cannot run effectively without volunteers who can commit 2 hours a month to the committee. We have a very friendly Early Years Practitioner team and parent committee that are keen to support the transition of new committee members.

Experience required

Experience is desirable but not essential:
Chair - some experience of small business management would be helpful.
Treasurer - some accountancy or book keeping experience would be helpful but not essential
Secretary - no experience requireed

Travel details

Blackhall is central to Edinburgh and almost all meetings will be held online.
