The Lang Spoon Kitchen is a place for people to grow, cook, eat and learn. Greener Kirkcaldy run a range of exciting food and cooking activities including courses and workshops and a weekly community meal.
The organisation is looking for an experienced cook to assist with cooking classes. This role may be suitable for a retired home economics teacher or somebody with a passion for cooking, who would be confident in supporting others
Experience required
-Happy to work in a team
-Friendly, approachable and welcoming
-Organised, enthusiastic and flexible
Experience or an interest in one or more of the following:
-Food and cooking with others
-Being involved in the community
-Good communication skills

Travel expenses
Out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed on a monthly basis.
Support
Training details
Greener Kirkcaldy will provide REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene training and other relevant courses to all volunteers involved as well as on-going training
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Availability
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
