Academy Coaches

Knightswood Football Club is seeking enthusiastic Volunteer Academy Coaches to support and deliver training sessions across various age groups within the club.
We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about developing young people through structured, engaging, and age-appropriate coaching sessions. Successful candidates will play an important role in mentoring and supporting players both on and off the pitch, helping to create a positive and inclusive football environment.

As a Volunteer Academy Coach, you will benefit from:

Responsibilities include:

Plan and deliver structured training sessions


Support player development in line with club values


Mentor and encourage young players


Promote teamwork, respect, and enjoyment of the game


Ensure a safe and inclusive training environment

Skills & Qualities Required:

Enthusiastic and committed attitude


Strong communication and listening skills


Ability to work positively with children and young people


Organised and reliable


A willingness to learn and develop as a coach

Experience required

Good understanding and knowledge of the game
