Group Volunteer - Men’s Tea, Toast & Games Group

The purpose of the role is to engage with the men attending the group, building relationships, assisting in their participation and keeping conversation flowing. Volunteers will be expected to attend the group regularly on a weekly basis, which will allow them to make connections with regular visitors to the group. We are looking for volunteers with a genuine passion for supporting men and contributing to their well-being. Has the ability to connect easily with people and is comfortable chatting with individuals of different ages, cultures and religious backgrounds.
Key responsibilities


  • Welcome participants and help them feel comfortable

  • Starting and guiding friendly group conversations

  • Helping create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment

  • Making connections by getting to know and engaging with the group

  • Helping with setting up and tidying before and after the group

  • Serving tea/coffee and snacks
