Digital Marketing Volunteer

Ayrshire Council on Alcohol is an alcohol counselling recovery service commissioned by East & South Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnerships to provide free confidential advice, information & support to individuals aged 16 + whether they wish to stop drinking or reduce their drinking levels. Support is also available to those concerned about a loved one’s drinking. All counsellors are trained to professional standards and work from accessible venues throughout East & South Ayrshire. Daytime & evening appointments are available.
ACA are currently looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Volunteer.
Role description:
• You will be an important member of the ACA team, improving and expanding the organisation’s digital marketing activities to raise awareness within our communities, engage with those looking for support and reach out to potential donors.
Main tasks:
• Help develop & co-ordinate ACA’s digital marketing strategies
• Increase presence on social media platforms
• Improve & update ACA website
• Support the Director of Service with the planning and delivery of any campaigns across the platforms
• Monitor online performance & recommend improvements

Experience required

• Experience or a strong interest in digital marketing / promotion
• Ability to work on multiple digital channels such as social media and websites
• Good organisational skills
• An understanding of the importance of upholding confidentiality
• Interest in working for a local charity to help support service promotion and raise awareness

Travel expenses

Travel expenses are reimbursed and lunch is provided if you work more than 4 hours
