Enthusiastic Volunteers

Join Our Team and Make a Difference in Your Community
Are you looking for a rewarding way to support your local community? Strathmore Cricket Club is always seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our dedicated team. Whether you have a passion for sport, an eye for organisation, or simply want to lend a helping hand, there’s a place for you here.
At Strathmore Cricket Club, we believe every contribution counts. Our club offers a wide range of volunteering roles to suit different interests, skills, and availability:
• Coaching: Share your knowledge and love for cricket by supporting our activities (between our junior cricket, senior cricket, women & girls cricket, disability cricket and walking cricket we aim to offer cricket for all!). No experience necessary—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
• Administration: Help keep the club running smoothly with tasks such as organising fixtures, managing memberships, or assisting with communications.
• Dementia Meeting Centre Support: Make a real difference by volunteering at Lochside Connections (our Dementia Meeting Centre), where we provide a welcoming space and social activities for those living with dementia and their carers.
• Event Assistance: Get involved with match days, fundraising events, and social gatherings—there’s always something happening at Lochside!
• Grounds and Facilities: Help maintain our pitches and clubhouse, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Volunteering at Strathmore Cricket Club offers a fantastic way to meet new people, learn new skills, and give back to your community. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or just help out on occasion, your time and energy will be greatly appreciated.
If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love to hear from you - let us know your interests and availability, and we’ll help you find the perfect role!
