Group Leader

Agape Wellbeing Centre and Sensory Hub delivers a weekly programme of group services and activities for vulnerable adults and families with young children. Our sessions create opportunities for people across the community to connect, build confidence, and take part in meaningful activities that support positive mental health and wellbeing.
We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to support and lead a range of engaging group sessions, including board games, music, crafts, and sensory play.
What you’ll do:
Prepare and set up activities and refreshments before each session
Follow session plans to deliver structured, engaging group activities
Create a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants
Encourage participation through positive conversation and individual support
Help ensure sessions are fun, interactive, and accessible to everyone
Complete basic procedures such as sign-in sheets
Tidy and clean the space at the end of each session
What you can bring:
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. Whether you have experience or simply enthusiasm, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your own skills and interests. This could include helping to develop new sessions in areas such as drama, music, creative writing, dance, or fitness as part of our holistic wellbeing programme.
What you’ll gain:
Valuable experience in health and social care and community work
Opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and organisational skills
