Collective Advocacy for people with lived experience of the Adult Support and Protection process

This is not a traditional volunteering opportunity. It allows you to come together with others to use your own lived experience of the Adult Support and Protection process. Your views on the process are vitally important so that it can be developed to best suit yours and others’ needs. A CAPS Worker will facilitate the discussion amongst the Collective Advocacy group and a member of staff from East Lothian and Midlothian Public Protection Office – Adult Support and Protection. Eight meetings in total will take place. People who take part in Collective Advocacy at CAPS value the sense of community and purpose it provides. So please join us to help improve the Adult Support and Protection process! A suitable venue for meetings will be found to suit the group and refreshments will be provided. There will also be a £20 thank you voucher available
