As a social media volunteer, you will work with the Chief Officer to create and share content on our social media platforms to increase our brand awareness, visibility, accessibility and engagement. You will also help us seek out new social media opportunities and new ways to connect with our community.
This list is not exhaustive and tasks will vary from department to department.
• Administration – follow procedures relating to office organisation.
• Input data and information into computer systems.
• Establishing and/or maintaining active social media accounts.
• Researching and creating creative content for different social media channels
• Identifying opportunities to establish relationships with local community groups.
• Thinking of innovative ways to drive online engagement.
• Creating/ updating timetable of upcoming events and awareness days (Christmas, Red Nose day, etc.)

Availability
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
