Fundraising and Community Engagement

SPCA
Fundraising and Community Engagement Volunteer: The SPCA champions kindness to all animals, challenges cruelty and protects and celebrates the human bond. Do you want to join us in advocating for animals? There are a variety of different tasks to choose from and you can tailor your volunteering role around your current commitments, undertaking only the tasks that interest you. You will be given a full induction and training and can claim expenses for your fuel costs when volunteering. You will:
• Represent the Society in your local community, engaging with the general public
• Promote campaigns and educate on animal welfare within your community
• Identify opportunities to build relationships with local businesses, groups and individuals
• Attend fundraising activities such as public collections, stalls, fayres and events
• Be responsible for counting, banking and reporting income raised
• Manage collecting cans in your local area and actively seek to place new ones
• Be in regular contact with the regional fundraising and Community Engagement Teams.
