Fundraising & Events Volunteer

LOOP Theatre is a Scottish charity that provides people with additional support needs the opportunity to learn, create and perform together. We connect with and invest in people, enabling their talents to be shared with the wider artistic community through our weekly drama and theatre sessions.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our events, performances and fundraising activities throughout the year. This is a flexible role that offers a great opportunity to meet new people, support an inclusive arts organisation and contribute to the success of our community events.
Your main tasks may include:
• Supporting fundraising events and activities
• Staffing information stalls and engaging with members of the public
• Selling raffle tickets and helping to raise funds for our work
• Welcoming audiences and providing a friendly face at performances and events
• Stewarding performances and assisting with the smooth running of activities
Support for Volunteers
All volunteers receive a full induction and ongoing support from the LOOP Theatre team. A named member of staff will provide guidance and supervision before and during events, ensuring that you feel confident and supported in your role. We are committed to creating an accessible, welcoming and enjoyable volunteering experience for everyone.
Time Commitment
This is a highly flexible role, with opportunities to volunteer on a one-off, occasional or project basis as events and activities arise throughout the year. Many opportunities take place during evenings and weekends, although this will vary depending on the event. We will always discuss expectations, timings and responsibilities with you in advance, allowing you to volunteer in a way that fits around your other commitments.
We particularly welcome Micro Volunteers who can provide one-off or occasional support, as well as Project Volunteers who would like to contribute to a specific event, activity or fundraising initiative.

If you are interested, please click the 'Apply' button below (available when logged in and registered). You will be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone. If you do not hear back within five working days, please contact the organisation using the details provided. Please remember to check your junk or spam folder for responses.
