Snowdrop Cafe Volunteer

We recently started running the Snowdrop Café but have currently paused it for summer to re-launch with a clearer aim in September. It will be open every first and third Wednesday of the month at the King’s Way Centre, Bridge of Don, as a friendship & wellbeing space for those with Palliative Health Conditions & their carers.
The Snowdrop Cafe offers a calm space to foster friendship, wellbeing and care to individuals as well as their family, friends and carers who may also benefit from a listening ear. The cafe also provides free refreshments alongside activities such as jigsaws, games and crafts to bring enjoyment and relaxation amongst the guests to help improve emotional and mental wellbeing in difficult circumstances.
We are looking for friendly, compassionate volunteers who can offer a listening ear, provide signposting information, make hot drinks and get involved with the activities provided with the guests to create a warm, safe and hospitable environment.
