A walking football volunteer is needed to support and facilitate Monday evening sessions at Calderhead High school in Shotts

We’re looking for volunteers to support our growing Walking Football group in Shotts. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a welcoming, community-focused football programme while supporting others to stay active and connected.
Session Details:
Monday evenings, 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Calderhead High School
Dyfrig Street, Shotts, ML7 5ET
What you’ll do:
Help set up and support weekly walking football sessions
Assist with delivering activities and encouraging participation
Provide basic refereeing support during games
Help organise events and group activities
Take part in sessions and learn more about the game

Experience required

Confidence in engaging with groups
Strong communication skills
Willingness to support and encourage others
A passion for football

By Car:
Calderhead High School is located on Dyfrig Street, Shotts. There is parking available on-site. The 3G pitches are located at the back of the school.
By Train:
The nearest station is Shotts Train Station, around a 10–15 minute walk from the school. Exit the station toward the town centre and follow signs toward Dyfrig Street.
