Treasurer

Talk Matters, a mental health charity based in Dunfermline, is looking for Treasurer to join their team and help create a brighter future for those affected by mental health challenges across Fife, regardless of their ability to pay.
They are seeking an individual with diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives who share a passion for mental health. Whether you bring expertise in business, finance, marketing, fundraising or lived experience with mental health challenges, your contribution will be vital to their success. They operate with an independent bookkeeping service so some finance experience would be useful but is not essential. As a Treasurer you will prepare and present financial reports, ensure appropriate budgeting and accounting procedures and controls are in place, provide advice on the financial implications of strategic decisions and plans, and ensure compliance with charity laws.
Ready to make a difference? They'd love to hear from you!

They are seeking individuals with diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives who share a passion for mental health. Volunteers should have good communication and interpersonal skills, logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of charity governance.
